“The willingness with which our young people are likely to serve in any war, no matter how justified, shall be directly proportional to how they perceive the veterans of earlier wars were treated and appreciated by their nation.”

How We Help
A key foundation of Surplus Americans is ensuring that veterans have a safe place to live in any way we can. However, this is not always as easy as it sounds for some of the more senior members of the veteran community.
With our team and community volunteers, we are able to go on site and do everything from trash and waste removal to basic remodel. Nominate someone you know or have heard of today, or give us their information and we will reach out!
The Vets - 4 - Vets program is designed to support and assist elderly and disabled veterans who are in need of immediate and emergency housing repairs.
Upon acceptance into the program, the Surplus Americans Team instantly gets to work with a multi-phased plan of action targeted towards direct and expedited success.
This program is also structured not only around home repair, but also around community support and engagement. We strive to not only fix each candidate's house, but also ensure that a solid support structure exists beyond just that of Surplus Americans and its partners.
Applicant's home must be unlivable or on the verge of unlivable due to emergency or medical situations.
Must be physically unable to perform the repairs without assistance.
Must not possess the financial means necessary to qualify for financial support.
Must pass Surplus Americans vetting and background criteria.
Cannot immediately sell property and must be able to maintain property post remodel.
